Senseta is the home of MAXKernel, an open-source linux based robotic operating system. MAXKernel was designed to be an easy to use solution for scientific users of the MAX robotic platform, where the user wants to employ MAX as a research tool, without having to be an expert in robotics. MAXKernel is used by NASA researchers to allow enhanced productivity of the MAX platform in a variety of remote environments.

MAXKernel comes preinstalled with all of our linux-based MAX systems, ready out of the box to get the user up and operating the rover in a short amount of time.
